Our History

Quality Plastics C.M.I. has always done one thing: helping customers turn an idea, a print, or a worn-out sample into a molded part that actually works.

The shop is owned and run by a father and daughter. That shows up in how the place operates — the owners are on the floor, and the people who quote your job are the people who run it.

Over the years the investment has gone into range rather than volume: twenty presses from 85 to 500 tons, so a small precision component and a large thick-sectioned part can both be quoted honestly. Secondary operations — ultrasonic welding, pad printing, hot stamping, milling, assembly — came in house so customers could receive finished assemblies instead of loose parts.

The work has spanned a wide range of commercial applications, from swimming pools to aircraft.

Founding year and specific milestones are still to come — the old site never listed them. Once the owner confirms dates (and we track down the McDowell News photo of her and her father), this becomes a proper timeline.
